Thomas Frank declared it was "much-needed" for Mohammed Kudus to score after his 57th-minute shot secured Tottenham a 2-1 victory at Leeds. The £55m summer signing had not found the net in his previous nine outings but his deflected effort in the second half decided an important win.

Kudus also set up the opener for Mathys Tel, who notched his first of the campaign, but Leeds' forward equalized for Leeds before Kudus's strike proved decisive.

"I'm delighted for Mo to get his goal and it was long overdue, and I'm thrilled for Mathys as well," stated the Spurs boss. The home supporters were displeased at referee Thomas Bramall's officiating, but Farke insisted: "It's necessary to be a reserved, I prefer not to discuss officiating. I let others judge to comment on the match official, I focus on what I can control."
